What is xLegion? Is an interactive creative arts project devised by Legio through which independent artists can showcase their work and express their dark side. By joining xLegion you will be able to communicate with other xLegion members via email, brainstorming ideas and exchanging material. Through this unique artistic community xLegion will inspire all kinds of new creative ideas and projects. To join xLegion just forward your content to us via e-mail. After careful evaluation, a panel of Legion judges will then decide whether or not to include your contribution on the site. xLegion welcomes all forms of artistic expression: prose, poetry, illustration, painting, photography, graphic design, music, video, cinema etc. xLegion believes that many minds and forces thinking and working together can create and achieve more than the most powerful collosus can achieve by itself.
Why xLegion? The letter X symbolises darkness: the unknown, the unsolved, the unconstrained. The name Legion is derived from the biblical passage, Mark Ch 5, Vrs 9. (“And he asked him, “What is thy name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion: for we are many.”) Legion is a man possessed by demons; the more demons he has within him, the more powerful he becomes. Together the letter X and the name Legion stand as a metaphor for what the xLegion creative arts project is about. As xLegion feeds upon the the dark arts of its contributors so it will grow and evolve, increasing its artistic power and potential toward infinity.
xLegion: The Creative Arts Lab on the Web. xLegion strives to create a continually expanding community of artists. Through this unique artistic community X Legion will inspire all kinds of new creative ideas and projects. X legion is a giant creative arts laboratory on the web.
The xLegion Showcase. As well as a creative online community, xLegion also serves as an important showcase giving visibility to independent artists and their works.

xLegion will carefully consider all submissions before deciding whether or not to publish the content on the xLegion site or initiate a particular project idea.
All xLegion artistic projects will be open to participation from all xLegion members.
The specific role which each participant will assume within an xLegion project will be decided once a full list of participants in that project has been finalised and once each participant’s submission of material has been reviewed by xLegion staff.
In some instances xLegion staff reserve the right to make final decisions about any aspect of a project without obtaining the voting support of the participants in that project.
In some cases xLegion staff will delegate particular tasks, themes and topics to particular artists within that project.
